ELF yourself

On Thursday we started making our elf yourself pictures first rm 8 toke their pictures then rm 8 started coloring in our elf yourself then when we were finished we had to stick it all together so we can be a elf.I done my bells gold and my sweeter red and green same with my hat and my gloves were fed and green too and my shoes and socks were green. It gave me a relay big challenge when I cut it out because I had to try get the edges.My favorite bit was making a challenge for myself.

Why do our muscles get tired?

We are learning to write an information report. We are learning to write our ideas into paragraphs and in order.

When we use the same muscle every time, our muscle gets tired and exhausted, because it loses its energy and strength.

When kids use the same muscle by running, the muscle loses strength and energy. When kids lose strength, they start to slow down, and drop back. When we run our heart starts to beat faster to try and get more oxygen and energy to our muscles.

We need water, to help our muscles keep going and so they recover more quickly, if you don’t drink a lot of water you will start to lose your balance and fall over.

Kids need rest because their muscles are fatigued.When we get a lot of sleep every night our muscles get stronger. When you get a lot of sleep  your muscles recharge and they can back get to work again.

I think we need a lot of rest when our muscles get tired.

Calendar Art 2016

21st of September the teachers wanted to do some calendar art. So I did the picture paint. First we had to take a picture of us pretending to paint. Then we printed it in black and white. Then we had a practiced with crayons. After we started to paint. After we had finished we let them dry. It was the easiest art out of the other four.

WOW Monday was a great day we played chuck the chicken with Nathan and Katie. we played in the hall.Then the group sitting paced the cow around then Nathan said chuck the chicken the person who had. I liked having  fun and I want to do it again.The game was awesome. I would like to play the game again.I enjoyed the game.

If I was asked to compete in a tandem cycling event and I had to choose one person to compete with... I will choose my league Mate Harrison,O he has had a training on his bmx bike for cycling. He is one of my best friends.I rillie on him 100%.He sometimes hearts me but I still think he is a good friend.

The ceremony has just started and all of the Olympic athletes are parading around the stadium in their uniforms when all of a sudden… it gets darker and darker then i was scared the I couldn't hear my dad yelling but I couldn't hear him.The old man and the old lady were yelling " turn on the lights""turn on the lights".But the light would not turn on the it went silent everybody waited. After a few minutes the lights flicked straight back on. Then everybody cheered when the light came back on.Then they stopped and just watched. They were so quit I could here my dad loud and clear.then every one was Tired.people fell a sleep because it was a big night. Then everyone clap for there country. I was tired then I went in my car for a sleep.Then we went home.

I would choose John Key to speak at the opening ceremony for the 2024 Olympics because he is not afraid to speak in front of thousands people.

I walked through a forest to a log cabin.

I sprinted through a long forest it was a fine day.I saw a small cute cuddly kiwi then i saw a hole in a rock i thought  

We were going home from school when we found a path. We sprinted through a long forest. It was a fine day. We found a small cute cuddly kiwi, then we saw a hole in a rock. We thought that it was a normal rock… But before we knew, a bear crept out of the bush and it went for us. Then before we knew, a lion took out the bear with a tiger. I saw a lot of black and red eyes. I smelt a whisper of smoke. The smoke lead me to a log cabin.

In the Trenches

Sandbags exploding because of the gunshots when they went through the tatterdemalion sandbags. I wonder if the Army got shot through the sandbags?

Dirty water in tea because they did not have any clean water. Did the Army survive the dirty water?

Mud everywhere because of the terrible weather. I wonder if the Army survived the terrible weather?

Parasites crawling up soldiers bodies because they don’t have any home. I wonder where they would be going next?

This is my art of my sun set I hope you like it. We used  pastel so it is pastel art we have the sea the mountains and the sun set. The sun set art we had to use pencil and vivid. The warm colors are yellow and orange and red. The  cold colors are green and blue.
